So Much for the Constitution

White House Won't Rule Out That Obama Will Sign Other Bills--Such As Immigration Reform--That Are Not Put to Yea-or-Nay Votes in Both Houses [More]
If We the People can't rely on the protections of "the supreme law of the land," nobody can.

Thing is, I'm sure they've thought that through.

GRE Round Up for Mar. 18

There's some good stuff being turned out. I hope you're availing yourself of it, and importantly, sharing these links via emails, on blogs and forums, with your local newspaper editor, etc.

A common complaint is media bias and absence of representation for "our side."

These people work hard to change that and ask for nothing from those of us their labors serve other than to help spread the word. I hope no one thinks that's too much to ask.

Here are their latest offerings:

Don Gwinn/Chicago:
Ralph Conner, head of CORE Chicago, ends a life of entrepeneurism and service

Daniel White/Cleveland:
Liston Matthews/Knoxville:
Tiger swings at Masters, but Elin may not be out of the woods

Dave Workman/Seattle:
This may be why they call the stuff ‘dope’

Kurt Hofmann/St. Louis:
Go. Read. And please share the links.
You're doing that, right?

We're the Only Ones Deflating Enough

The device had fallen out of a Newport Beach police officer’s Chevy Tahoe after he forgot to shut the back door, according to a police report.

Now, Marcum and at least one other driver want the city of Newport Beach to pay to replace their tires. [More]
Why should the tax cows have to hoof the bill? No one seriously believe this is a training issue--that people have to be instructed that stuff can fall out the back if you don't close the door?

Why not make the "Only One" responsible pay for the damage his negligence caused?

People are lucky no one lost control of their vehicle and died or killed someone.

Who Is "Jim K"

...why is he attacking Len Savage, and how is it he knows something previously known only to the feds?

Inquiring minds want to know!

Read this comment thread for remarks by Jim K, Historic Arms LLC and Mike Vanderboegh.

A True "Assault Weapon"

A man who assaulted a female police officer with his penis has been fined. [More]
Stand back! That thing could go off!

Good grief.

An Only Ones Gun

Law Enforcement & Military only! [More]
See, you and I just can't be trusted with it, because...well, just because.

And that's why I maintain the "Only Ones" files.

Privileged Willie

I was privileged to be invited by the leaders from the Highlands to accompany them on a weekend helicopter tour to one of their electorates the next morning. Early Saturday morning we boarded a Hevi Lift helicopter which one of them hired at Kagamuga airport with two armed policemen and two cartons of ice beer, flying off to our destination. [More]
Armed cops and beer is OK? But the thought of your countrymen--even your relatives having guns--fills you with dread?

Seems to me those villagers treated you all a lot nicer than you deserved. A pig roast with a group of armed friends sure sounds like a good time to me.

A Simple Solution

'If their names are published they may become targets for some people,' said Mr Cummings. He said they would be 'exposed' as having firearms at their properties. [More]
So we don't approve the permits and remove the guns. It's not like we don't know where they are. Plus you'll know they're in good hands rather than the hands of thieves.

Problem solved.

Isn't it something--their concern is that their names will be made known, not that they aren't being allowed to keep their property. I guess their "sport" just isn't that important to them...

I actually didn't realize there were any legally-owned handguns kept at private residences left there. We'll soon set that right.

Making Us All Look Bad

I note Leonard Embody has had his "gun permit" revoked by the local "Only Ones."

An anonymous comment left on my previous Gun Rights Examiner post, that "we're all better off now that he's unarmed," makes me question who actually makes us look worse.

Feel free to add to the discussion there.

Fincher Gets His Meds

From Wayne's daughter Connie, via email:
Just to let everyone know dad got his meds finally today. THANK YOU for all those who are concerned.
Here was my earlier report. I have no further details to add. I do note the Forrest City Times-Herald proved useless.

Thanks to those of you who wrote to ask for an investigation.

Worth Repeating

WRSA plays a video.

We talked about it here.

We're the Only Ones Fragmented Enough

Sheriff: Ex-Captain Taped Grenade To Inmate's Neck [More]
A potentially explosive situation, "Only Ones" style.

Good grief. Where do they get these sociopath morons? Do you think one day he just woke up and started with extreme terrorist acts like this, or do you think it likely he built up to this after years of getting away with other (and unreported) abuses?

And what else would you or I likely be charged with had we done the same thing?

[Via FFFW]

We're the Only Ones Flushed with Success Enough

Indiana State Police say a trooper will remain on duty while officials review details of an incident in which he left his loaded handgun in the restroom of a Lowe’s home improvement store. [More]
This kind of crap happens more often than you might think...

You Know What We Need?

"Smart guns."

With electronics built in allowing police to deactivate them by remote control.

Hey, if you're not doing anything bad, why would anyone but a criminal object?

Besides--what could go wrong?

Is It Anti-Semitic to Say So if Gungrabbers Really Are 'Bagel Brained'?

There's only one problem: the creator of the flier is JPFO. So to buy into Dresser's propaganda fantasy, we need to believe that the one civil rights group that not only says "Never again!" but also points to the one way to ensure against genocide—and is headed by a Jew—is anti-Semitic!

It must drive the left nuts...
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column looks at a conundrum for the antis--one I hope you're on board with.

This Day in History: March 18

The Battle of Quinton's Bridge was a minor battle of the American Revolutionary War fought on March 18, 1778. The battle was a technical American victory in that the British failed in their main objective to seize the bridge in order to forage further into neighboring Cumberland County, New Jersey, but it came at a great cost when the British turned the attempted American rout into a British rout of the attempted American rout instead.
