A Voice from the Past

Took me a while to figure out who this guy is and what the hell he's talking about.

Here it is. He's just now getting around to an April post?

OK, Ed, I'll respond to you directly.

Yeah, you're either ignorant or a liar--you either don't know that there is no legal loophole to purchase automatic weapons without background checks or else you do, and don't care. I didn't point it out  because what kind of moron presumes to write authoritatively about guns and doesn't know that?

You, apparently. And after reading the April post you still can't figure it out?

And yeah, I know absolutely nothing about your military service except for one thing: You swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution, and you've not only reneged on it, you've relegated yourself to domestic enemy by virtue of your subversion of the Second Amendment to the Bill of Rights.

Libelous?

Sue me.

And if you wish to respond, comment here.  That's where I intend to post any further entertaining emails I get from you.

VTV

Vanderboegh is on his way to the local Fox News studio, wearing his Sunday boonie hat, to talk Tampa and more.

He called me up and asked how he should refer to me as, and I said I thought "youthful ward" was pretty cool (except I'm actually older than the youngster by a few months)...

Anyway, no idea when it will air, but let's keep our eyes peeled and keep each other apprised via comments, below.  As soon as I know something, I'll post it.

UPDATE: Just spoke with Mike--the deed is done. His appearance on Special Report with Bret Baier will be broadcast tonight at 6:00 pm Eastern.

Archives are here.  It looks like they're going to post by the week and replace the show at each day's link the evening of the broadcast date.

Spread the word on this, OK? Nobody else is doing a daily exclusive gun rights broadcast in a major market during morning drive time, and if this works, it could not only create an opportunity to spread to other markets, but also open doors for efforts by others.  We complain our voice is not heard in the media--here we've got a foot in the door at an NBC affiliate station to promote a full-blown no compromise message.  Just a few short months ago I certainly would never have predicted I'd see that happen--or that I'd be a  part of it.

Lineup subject to change without notice.
