School denying permission for anti-gun PSA raises legal questions

With that being the case, if no one gave Sincic permission to bring a firearm or imitation firearm (as the one in the video may be) onto school property, it's presence becomes a legitimate matter for public and legal inquiry. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner report actually agrees with an anti-gunner and encourages everyone who is not a coward to share! It also notes it sure would be nice if these people demanding new laws would exhibit an understanding of those that already exist -- maybe by not breaking them in front of everybody...

A New York State of Mind

In light of recent developments nationwide since events in Ferguson and agitation from race profiteers began ginning violent anti-police sentiment in urban areas nationwide, it might be prudent to anticipate what it would take to precipitate a nose dive in high-level policing. It’s not hard to conceive of situations becoming so dangerous that those who wear uniforms will think twice about responding in certain areas, leaving citizens in those neighborhoods on their own. My latest JPFO Alert notes sometimes, all we can do is watch people face the inevitable consequences of their own choices -- that and make sure we don't succumb to the same...

Huh? What did I do? I've never even heard of this person. I guess this?
Well not from me you haven't.  Funny how there's not even one example included. So what's with this person?

Well now, doesn't that just explain everything?  No Opposite Day "progressivism" going on there. Kind'a makes the "1 follower" understandable.

Thing is, this led to an even bigger loon, if you can believe it:
Or not:
These people are insane.

Following Dots

Who are the Pasadena embezzlement suspects Danny Wooten, Melody Jenkins, Tyrone Collins? [More]
Just on a hunch, I thought I'd try to find  out if they're part of the "blame guns" crowd. The connection is tenuous, but led to something I thought had relevance.

The main suspect is "a senior pastor at the New Covenant Christian Fellowship Church in Pomona," and they in turn were part of a larger "Stop the Violence" rally.  The link they provided went to a video of the event, where a grieving mother told the reporter "This is my baby. They took her life and it wasn't fair."

This was her baby:

She "was shot and killed by police after she allegedly pulled a gun on a gang task force."

Somehow, relying on "the community coming together" seems a bit inadequate in this case. And I can't help but notice the shooting evidently qualified in the tabulation of "Gun Violence After Newtown" claims.

Well hell, it's not like this is a time when NYPD needs all the friends it can get...

Besides, how bad could it have been with the guy disappearing as he grins like the Cheshire Cat?

This Day in History: January 2

Last evening Capt. Lieut: Kirkpatrick and myself were taken under Guard and confined to my tent, this we understand is by order of Major General Knox—Captain Bushnell of the Corps to which we belong gives us not even the disposal of our Baggage—How much the feelings of two Men who have served with reputation as Officers six years in the Army under your Excellencys Command are injured cannot be discribed—to be thus insulted and have our dignity trampled upon is to be wretched indeed. We will not trouble your Excellency at this time with an account why we are treated so unprecedented and singularly, this from prisoners is never so well received. [More]
