My biggest concern is what will happen to all my content when the site finally goes dark. Fortunately there's the Wayback Machine. What I don't have is time to try and preserve the past. Most never see how the sausage is made from scratch, and that is what I need to focus on.

I always posted the full content of my Examiner submissions on my blog as well as Examiner.com
Just in case of such an event. It made it easier for me to tell them to take a hike when their shady "page view" and pay algorithms started cutting deeply into the money I was making there.
