A Package Deal

FedEx discount for NRA members draws LGBT, anti-gun activist ire [More]
Apparently we're to blame for gun-free nightclubs and the sexually confused to the point of self-loathing offspring of Muslim refugees.

Guns Down, eh?  Are they the ones with 2,200 or so Facebook "likes"?

That's some massive buying power they must wield!

I'm sure they have a very good reason for hiding behind a Canadian proxy. [CoughsorosCough]

Jeez, all that Astorturf money and free publicity, you'd think their #BloodyFedEXmas hashtag would be generating a lot more activity...

You get free privacy when you get your domains through Google Domains. Mine are there now and I've got privacy on them. Earlier this year Google moved the privacy hosting to the Canadian company. Before that, I want to say it was a company in New Zealand, but I can't remember for sure. By comparison, Domains by Proxy, which Go Daddy uses, is based in Arizona. There's nothing nefarious about the Canadian company, just the fact they're hiding behind privacy.

Given the nature of the organization, they probably don't want protesters showing up on their doorstep or calling them. How hypocritical. Seeing as there's no real contact info on the site, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a home address. "Ooh, we have a domain, so we're uber important, but no, you can't visit us because reasons." #astroturf

Generally I think businesses and orgs like this should have public whois. Get a PO box if you don't want to list your physical address. It adds a bit of legitimacy. Though I think in some cases privacy is warranted.
