Catch-22

Handgun owners can't renew permits because NY hasn't created website [More]
But you need the permit to have the handgun but...

Norman demonstrates:

And as long as we're on the subject of consistent logic, if the "burden" of requiring voter ID disenfranchises "underprivileged" minorities, how does requiring them to have a computer, internet access and the skills to use them -- in order to exercise a right -- not do the same? And you can add plenty of elderly into that mix.
Illogical. Illogical. Please explain.

Who says the polar ice caps melting would be a bad thing? NYC would be under water as would much of Joisey & the western coastal areas.

And this is surprising exactly why?

Oh and expecting logic or consistency from the left is a bigger waste of time than trying to teach a pig to sing bel canto. Plus it is extremely aggravating.

Herschel Bernardi appeared on Star Trek???

Who knew? (Besides David Codrea, that is.)

David Codrea said...

Sorry, but no.

Okay. Must have been an SNL skit. The YouTube page didn't ID it as such.

I thought Herschel's uniform looked kind of ragged. I guess Shatner's snicker at the end should have been the give-away.

Thanks for the brief diversion from reality.

Along with Shatner, that's Richard Tatro as Norman and Roger C. Carmel (who reportedly "died of a crack cocaine overdose while romping with a young male prostitute") as Harcourt Fenton Mudd.

Kind'a explains why Stella was always raggin'on him...

"Beloved actors" -- is it any wonder why their "progressive" political opinions guide us so?

Oh good grief.

I know Carmel appeared in a variety of shows I watched as a kid.

I prefer Season 1 Mudd's Women. Although ....

when it comes to women I prefer the episode with Sherry Jackson and "Lurch"

I think I read in the UK Daily Mail that Millennials now prefer to with Androids.

As always, Trek was way ahead of the curve.

As was Artemis Gordon. ;)

For those who don't remember (as in ... "It Was Before My Time"), Artemis gordon was a character on the slightly campy television series "Wild Wild West", starring Robert Conrad as James West, and Ross Martin as his side-kick Artemis Gordon.

They lived on a train, solved crime for the U.S. Government (President U.S. Grant). James West wore a short jacket and a snappy hat, while Artemis Gordon wore frock coats and a frilled. They had a lot of beautiful women visit them.

IMDB is shamefully weak on information on the series.

Oh, and in the movie? Artemis Gordon was played by Kevin Kline ... who was a much more interesting character (and much more campy dressed in a dress).

I live in NY. I renewed my pistol license in October o this year. it took all of about 10 minutes or less. I do not quite understand what they mean by recertifying or by being unable to renew a permit.
