Why am I suddenly thinking of Michael Moore after he ate frijoles...?

A better question could be why are you even thinking of Michael Moore? 8-o

I'm unconvinced of the sonoluminescence thing. Sonoluminescence is a physical, no chemical. There appears to be a chemical reaction occurring within the collapsing wound cavity. This is evidence by the gas exiting which appears to be combustion byproducts and there is what appears to be a carbon residue within the wound channel. No gasses from the firearm were carried into the gelatin block so the exhaust must have result from something within the block. Also, it appears that there was a secondary impulse occurring within the block also suggesting a chemical reaction. Note that the sonoluminescent region appears to propagate along the wound channel again characteristic of a chemical rxn rather than a pysical event resulting exclusively from adiabatic temperature increase resulting from compression. Is it possible that enough oxygen was carried in so that when the block collapsed upon the vaporized gelatin-air mixture it combusted like a diesel engine?
